
Hi, y’all! I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from me, but believe it or not, quarantine has kept me busy! Whether I’m working from home, wedding planning (yay!), or working out, it has been hard to find time to focus on my blog.
BUT, with all that said, I’m BACK and here to share with you my at home workout routine! What better time than now to focus on your health and wellness.
A little over a year ago, I started working out with the Daily Burn app. My cousins have been doing their program for a couple of years so I thought I would give it a try. Needless to say, I was hooked!
What is Daily Burn?
The beauty of Daily Burn is that there is a different workout everyday (Daily Burn 365) and it’s only 30 minutes! I don’t know about you, but I get bored easily with workouts and this has kept me engaged. What makes this even more fun is that my cousins and I group text about the daily workouts and now my fiancé is currently working out with me since the gyms are closed. It is great to have people to hold you accountable!
What type of workout is it?
Daily Burn has something for EVERYONE and every body type! The 365 workouts vary from cardio and strength, to kickboxing, to pilates and yoga. Also, don’t worry if you need low impact, the workouts always show a way to modify. There are also SO many great workouts in the library you can choose from that vary from five minutes to almost an hour. I also like to mix in a few walks each week when the weather is nice out.

What equipment do I need?
The best answer…NOTHING! When I first started Daily Burn, I didn’t have anything at home to work out with. No weights? No problem. You can use canned goods or even your own body weight with resistance. Every now and then I grab a towel for resistance and use paper plates for sliders. Of course, this is your workout so you can make it your own. I have since purchased a yoga mat and a few sets of weights ranging from three lbs to ten lbs.
Why?
When I first started working out with Daily Burn, I was working out to get a little more toned and in shape. Now, not only do I feel more in shape physically, I also feel better mentally after I work out. It has been a nice distraction during this quarantine.
