I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! It’s so hard to pick a favorite time of year, but as I sit here writing this, I’ve been relaxing and spending time with my family for a week, and I’d say that’s pretty hard to beat!
Let’s talk about comfortable and stylish clothes for colder weather. In the wintertime, I find it a little bit harder to dress cute whether for the office, or being out and about, while still being warm & comfy.
Usually, warm clothing means a lot of extra bulk and no one wants that! The key is to balance out your proportions. Examples: Chunky Sweater with skinny bottoms or a full skirt paired back with a thin top.
I love this navy mock neck I found at Zara and I’ve paired it here with these amazing burgundy pants – my two go-to fall and winter colors. The best part is that these pants actually fit like leggings. Can you say comfy?! The sweater is so warm and cozy and it has quickly become a new favorite of mine. Disclaimer: it was 65 degrees while taking these photos, so I was a little warm 😉
If you’ve been following along with me for a while, you know that my everyday jewelry is usually something simple and gold. This outfit is no exception. I’ve mixed in a bit of tortoise shell to add some texture as well.
This sweater would also look great with a pair of jeans for a casual night out this New Year’s Eve.
Cheers to 2020!
